ITM offers two study programmes: "Hospitality and Tourism Management" and "Wellness and Spa Management". The aim of the programmes is to provide students with a solid foundation for mid-level management positions in the hospitality-, hotel- and tourism industry, based on cultural, intellectual, and moral development in a multicultural environment.
Students are taught to develop marketing and communication abilities, and are thoroughly trained in guest relations, service, and cuisine. ITM Austria encourages students to enhance their language competencies in the classes and when mixing with their multicultural student colleagues. Needless to say that cross-cultural communication and understanding goes hand in hand.
After successful completion of the 2 year study programme students, are awarded a Diploma. This certificate is officially recognized by the Austrian state as well as by the industry and partner universities.
Students are well prepared to pursue further education at university level in the fields of tourism and hotel management. ITM students may continue their studies towards a bachelor's degree at the European University (location Bad Vöslau) in the field of "International Management". Furthermore, numerous well-known universities in Europe, the US and Australia fully accredit the ITM education and highly welcome ITM graduates to their undergraduate programs.
